ISO 10015 is a quality standard from the International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO).
Once training systems and management processes are in place, and being effectively used, then organisations can be taken forward to the next stage - Auditing and Certification.

Stages to certification at a glance

Arrange an initial - no obligation - meeting with one of the OFQT team

Formally register interest and supply documents as part of the application process, these include: Training Policy; Structure of part of the organisation/department to be audited (organogramme);Sample of a training programme *

Receive self-assessment package for initial benchmarking exercise

Pre-audit visit and report to provide a preliminary assessment *

Meeting to discuss outcomes of pre-audit report

Identify ways to meet non-conformities (if any) from report

Certification first audit and conformity report *

Post audit visit if appropriate (optional)

Second audit and conformity report * if appropriate (optional)

Submission of report and application to Geneva for issue of certificate and company registration (3 years)
* If an organisation wants to audit training products or programmes, they must specify whether these are in-house, open or customised courses
