ISO 10015 is a quality standard from the International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO), an international standard-setting body composed of representatives from national standards organisations.
Founded on 23rd February 1947 it is headquartered in Geneva, Switzerland. ISO defines itself as a non-governmental organisation and acts as a consortium with strong links to governments often finding that the standards that it sets become law either through treaties or national standards.
OFQT is the first and only company in UK to focus on the assessment of training management systems, processes and provision in corporates, provider organisations or training departments against this international standard.
Raymond Saner, CSEND/AdeQuaTE, Geneva, a registered lead auditor for ISO 10015 says:
“The ISO standard is a quality management standard for in-service training to ensure that there will be return on investment”
With so many areas in the world facing a severe talent crunch and companies spending large amounts on acquiring and retaining trained competent staff, certificating training programmes and training management systems would show a return on that investment.
It would also improve the process from learning to application and put a tab on the misuse of training resources.
OFQT offers such certification using ISO 10015(+).
