The Model can be used to focus on what a training business or in-house training function does, or could do, to provide excellent services and products to its customers/service users. Whereas it is non prescriptive and does not involve strictly following a set of standards, it does provide a broad and coherent set of assumptions about what is required for good training provision.
During 2009, OFQT 'field-tested' a customised EFQM online assessment tool developed specifically for training systems and processes in Education and Training Organisations (ETO's). This masterclass introduces the self-assessment tool and outlines its various uses.
*EFQM (The European Foundation for Quality Management) owns the intellectual property of the Excellence Model. It is a not-for-profit membership foundation based in Brussels and was set up in 1989 by the CEOs of large European businesses.

How large is the masterclass?
We limit attendance numbers (never more than 15 places
are sold at any of our masterclasses) allowing us to maximise
your personal learning and give ample opportunity for discussion
about how the concepts can work in your own situations.
