"Pass It On" - November 2008

Welcome to 38 new subscribers this quarter we hope you enjoy reading this newsletter and thank you (in advance) for 'passing it on' to those who are involved in training, learning and quality improvement and management.
A little about us: We are the first and only company in the UK working with ISO 10015(+). Our intention is to improve the standard of training - its management, systems, provision and return on investment across the UK and beyond through quality managment.
This newsletter is produced four times a year and is designed to be quick to scan (3 minutes) and provide interesting links to other information which should take a maximum of 15 - 20 minutes to read. Just enough time to down tools and reflect with a hot (or cold) drink and a healthy snack!
This edition highlights a very busy time for us at OFQT during the month of November both here in the UK and abroad with our focus being on 'spreading the word about quality in training'

Spreading the word about quality in learning and training
David, (OFQT Director, Product Development) is really globe trotting at the moment having spent a very successful time as a key note speaker in September in Romania at the HR Vocational School Congress explaining the benefits of using the ISO 10015(+) Award to improve the impact of Vocational training.
Then during November he is off again, back to to Cyprus to speak at TWO different conferences. The first is at the 7th Human Capital Conference, organised by PricewaterhouseCoopers where he is speaking about the future of learning.
The second is at ECEL '08, Agia Napa, Cyprus on 6/7 November where he is presenting a paper on e-mentoring and how it can support learning professionals and students alike.
As if that wasn't enough he has been invited to run a Masterclass on Training ROI in Malaysia on 17/18 November, click here for details
We are planning to run this Masterclass in 2009 in London so if you would like to go on our reservations list then please send a mail to Karen Markham on admin@ofqt.com
